⚫Claims are not guaranteed to be successful.

⚫ Money and Me Solicitors adopt a ‘no win/no fee’ policy, therefore, providing we can complete the investigation in full, no fee will be charged where a claim is unsuccessful.

⚫ The initial investigation will examine the pension transfer advice – we work this way because if we prove that this advice was unsuitable, then we have the scope to recover full pension losses, NOT just the (possible) ‘investment’ losses suffered following the transfer.

⚫ Claims settled by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme have limits applied of £48,000, £50,000 or £85,000 per regulated firm, depending on when the firm went out of business and placed in ‘default’ by the FSCS.

⚫ Compensation payments from the FSCS (and generally other parties) are made as a cash settlement.

⚫ Compensation payments do not affect existing (personal) pension arrangements. These remain in place, as they were, prior to any investigation/claim being settled/rejected.
